BANGKOK, May 31 (Bernama) -- Thailand's Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin assured investors from the United States today that the country is open for investment under enhanced policies.
Srettha said he envisioned the next chapter of Thailand-US economic relations and within the wider Asia-Pacific region to be more inter-connected, green, and forward-looking.
"We will leverage our strengths and consummate our efforts to realise the objectives, especially the logistics, aviation, digital, future mobility, and tourism hubs.
"I reiterate once and again that Thailand is open and there is no better time to invest in Thailand," he said on his official X account Friday.
Srettha highlighted the longstanding Thailand-US partnership and emphasised the potential for both countries to address modern challenges through bilateral and multilateral collaboration.
"The collaborations reflected in the consistency between vision under “Ignite Thailand” policy and “Five to Thrive” recommendations proposed by American businesses in Thailand, as well as our active and constructive participation in the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF)," he said.
The local media reported Srettha had earlier attended the Thailand-US Trade and Investment Conference 2024 here.
