SAN FRANCISCO, July 3 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- Tesla posted its second-quarter vehicle production and deliveries report for 2024 on Tuesday, with deliveries decreasing about 4.7 per cent compared to the same quarter last year, reported Xinhua.
The company delivered more of its electric vehicles (EVs) than expected in the second quarter with 443,956 vehicles, including 422,405 across its Model 3 and Ys and 21,551 across its other EVs.
Tesla also reported that it produced 410,831 vehicles for the quarter, a nearly 14.4 per cent decrease from the same period last year.
Its deliveries experienced an 8.5 per cent year-over-year decline in the first quarter.
The company will publish its second-quarter financial results on July 23.
