KOTA BHARU, Nov 21 (Bernama) -- The water level at three major rivers in Kelantan have exceeded alert level as of 1 pm today.
According to the publicinfobanjir.water.gov.my portal, the three rivers are Sungai Kelantan at Kampung Sokor, Tanah Merah, at 18.43 metres compared to the alert level of 18.0 metres; Sungai Golok at Rantau Panjang, at 7.38 metres, surpassing the alert level of 7.00 metres; and Sungai Semerak in Pasir Puteh, which hit the warning level of 2.47m this morning, but has receded to the alert level at 2.02 metres.
Water level at all other rivers in Kelantan were recorded at normal levels.
