IPOH, June 20 (Bernama) -- The number of flood evacuees sheltering at the temporary relief centre (PPS) at Dewan Bandaran Gopeng has dropped to 65 from 69 this afternoon following flooding in Kampung Ulu Geruntum, Gopeng, yesterday.
In a statement today, the State Disaster Management Committee Secretariat said the number of affected families remained unchanged at 20.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian Meteorological Department has forecast rain in most parts of Perak, except in Batang Padang and Bagan Datuk.
The Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) also said river levels across the state remained within safe levels.
