KUALA LUMPUR, June 21 (Bernama) -- GDB Holdings Bhd wholly owned subsidiary Grand Dynamic Builders Sdn Bhd has been appointed the main contractor for a proposed logistics hub in Shah Alam worth RM865.7 million.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction services firm said the contract was secured via a letter of award from Strategic Sonata Sdn Bhd.
“The contract scope includes designing, completing, and maintaining the works involving a five-storey ramp-up warehouse with offices, amenities and supporting facilities,” it said.
The 30-month contract is between June 20, 2024 and Dec 19, 2026.
In a separate statement, group managing director Cheah Ham Cheia said the project will strengthen the company’s portfolio, which includes high-rise housing, commercial and mixed developments, and ongoing hospital and industrial property projects.
“This win boosts our outstanding current order book to RM1.2 billion, and provides us with work until 2026,” he said.
