KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 8 (Bernama) -- The Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association Malaysia (REHDA) CEO Series 2025, scheduled for Jan 16, 2025, at Le Méridien Petaling Jaya is poised to drive Malaysia's real estate sector and economy forward.
This annual property developers conference is expected to attract over 350 senior stakeholders, including representatives from the private sector associations and government authorities.
In a statement today, REHDA said the conference will delve into Malaysia's 2025 economic outlook, the impacts of Budget 2025 on real estate and the economy, and the role of digital disruption in the construction and real estate sectors.
"The CEO Series 2025 also aims to serve as a platform for decision-makers to exchange insights, address pressing challenges, and explore opportunities as Malaysia assumes the ASEAN chairmanship," it stated.
The conference will also examine key developments, including insights from the 11th Malaysia-Singapore Leaders’ Retreat held in Putrajaya on Jan 7, 2025.
At the recent retreat, Malaysia and Singapore announced that the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone collaboration is projected to attract investments and create 20,000 skilled jobs within five years.
REHDA shared that the CEO Series 2025 will feature impactful discussions and keynote addresses by Deputy Finance Minister Lim Hui Ying and Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry Liew Chin Tong.
Prominent leaders from the property and economic sectors, including representatives from Colliers (Hong Kong), Charter Keck Kramer (Australia), Savills (Vietnam), and Moody’s Analytics (Singapore), will also share their expertise.
CEO Series 2025 is supported by key industry players such as Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia, Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers, Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents, GreenRE, Association of Valuers, Property Managers, Estate Agents, and Property Consultants in the Private Sector, Malaysian Iron and Steel Industry Federation, and others.
The conference is tailored for mid-to senior-level management professionals, including consultants, policymakers, industry experts, property developers, and business leaders shaping Malaysia’s economic and real estate landscapes, REHDA added.
