SHAH ALAM, May 19 (Bernama) -- The Asian Business Golf Championship (ABGC) 2026 which is set to tee off on June 11 aims to strengthen Malaysia’s position as a regional hub for corporate golf excellence while fostering international business ties through a structured and scalable tournament framework.
Elora Global in a statement noted the initiative will be a fully Malaysian established platform held under the Royal Patronage of the Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah, is designed to elevate Malaysia as a central hub for Asian regional corporate and business engagement through golf.
“Kueen Lai Group of Companies, a reputable property developer based in Selangor has come on board as the Title Sponsor for this inaugural championship.
“Their collaboration, alongside the support of several Main Sponsors and Co-Sponsors, underscores strong institutional and corporate confidence in the ABGC,” according to the statement.
The multi-leg championship which is expected to attract top corporate golfers from across the region will feature seven qualifying rounds held at Selangor, Johor, Negeri Sembilan and Perak with the final round held at the Els Club Teluk Datai in Langkawi from Oct 11 to 14.
