NEW YORK, July 25 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- The US dollar weakened in late trading on Wednesday.
The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, lost 0.06 per cent to 104.390 at 3.00 pm (1900 GMT), reported Xinhua.
In late New York trading, the euro lost to US$1.0838 from US$1.0852 in the previous session, and the British pound was nearly flat at US$1.2904.
The US dollar bought 154.00 Japanese yen, lower than 155.63 yen of the previous session. The US dollar dropped to 0.8858 Swiss francs from 0.8914 francs, and it climbed to 1.3814 Canadian dollars from 1.3775 Canadian dollars. The greenback added to 10.7861 Swedish kronor from 10.7610 kronor.
