Total Flood Evacuees Drop To 498 This Evening

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21 (Bernama) -- The flood situation in Perak and Selangor has improved as the number of flood evacuees dropped to 498 from 670 as of 5 pm.

In PERAK, 359 individuals from 104 families are still housed in five relief centres in Hilir Perak, Perak Tengah and Kerian districts.

Meanwhile in SELANGOR, 139 individuals from 52 families are being housed in four centre in Sabak Bernam and Kuala Selangor districts.

The Public Infobanjir website is showing the water level of one river at danger level, at Marudi station in Sarawak, with another two at warning levels, at Benawa station, Miri and Sungai Rui in Hulu Perak.
