Tengku Amir Shah, Consort Grace Royal Wedding Appreciation Ceremony

SHAH ALAM, Nov 7 (Bernama) - Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah and Datin Paduka Seri Afzaa Fadini today participated in several traditional games at the Royal Wedding Appreciation Ceremony today at Dataran Kemerdekaan Shah Alam here.

The couple were greeted upon their arrival at 5 pm by Shah Alam mayor Datuk Mohd Fauzi Mohd Yatim and members of the public who filled the square.

The Raja Muda then officiated the opening with a gimmick of of tin tossing before watching a football match with players in traditional costumes, a game of marbles and galah panjang, a traditional game.

His Highness was cheered on by spectators as he displayed his athletic prowess when he played sepak raga upon being invited.

There was a festive air as the Raja Muda and Datin Paduka Seri Afzaa Fadini joined in a game of congkak and batu seremban, and were enjoying themselves with attendees, especially the children.

His Highness and his consort also spent time watching attendees play checkers before presenting prices to winners before departing the event.

Tengku Amir Shah and Datin Paduka Seri Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz solemnisation ceremony was conducted on Oct 2 in a closed ceremony at Masjid Istana Diraja, Istana Alam Shah.
