KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 4 (Bernama) -- Malaysia’s Queen of Rock Ella is gearing up to return to the stage with a mega concert, scheduled to be held at Bukit Jalil National Stadium here on Feb 14. The ‘Majlis Tertinggi Rockqueen’ concert is expected to be a historic milestone for the legendary singer.
The concert, which will trace Ella’s more than four decades in music, was announced yesterday through various media platforms, with the singer describing it as a tribute to fans who have supported her throughout her journey.
“Every ticket you purchase carries meaning, hope and change. The event will only be complete with all of you there. I hope we can meet and share beautiful moments together,” she said in an Instagram post.
Ella, whose real name is Nor Zila Aminuddin, said in a statement that the name ‘Majlis Tertinggi Rockqueen’ is not merely a literal symbol or in reference to her title as the Queen of Rock, but also represents her mission to create a meaningful impact in the humanitarian sphere.

“I will turn 60 in 2026, and, of course, I want to leave a meaningful and lasting legacy, especially in humanitarian work,” she said.
Admitting that staging a show at Bukit Jalil Stadium is a major challenge after not performing in such a large venue for a long time, the ‘Permata Biru’ singer sees it as a source of motivation to continue working, having embarked on her singing career in 1983.
Organised by Hitman Solutions and Rockqueen, the upcoming concert will highlight the theme ‘Peace, Love & Rindu’, where Peace represents solidarity with the people of Gaza; Love highlights anti-bullying efforts in Malaysian educational institutions; and Rindu (longing) is dedicated to local artistes who continue to contribute to the industry.

Meanwhile, Hitman Group chief executive officer and founder Rohit Rampal said the concert tickets will be priced affordably and accessible to all fans of Ella.
“Our intention is to give back to the people. That’s why we chose a large venue with lower ticket prices, without compromising the extraordinary concert experience or the high-quality audio-visual production for everyone present,” he said.
He said RM2 from each ticket purchased will go to one of these organisations, namely Persatuan Cinta Gaza Malaysia, National Welfare Foundation or Yayasan Kebajikan Artis Tanahair, with buyers deciding which organisation they want to contribute to.
Ticket sales will begin on Dec 8 at 3 pm via www.hitmanlive.com, priced between RM39 and RM499.
For now, Ella has yet to reveal the number of songs she will perform, as well as the concert concept and the guest artistes she will perform with.
