6.7-magnitude Earthquake Strikes Off Japan's Aomori Prefecture: JMA

TOKYO, Dec 12 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.7 struck off Aomori Prefecture in northern Japan on Friday, said the country's weather agency, reported Xinhua.

The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) has issued a tsunami advisory for the eastern coast of the prefecture and other areas along the Pacific coast.
