Terengganu FC Midfield Maestro Nurillo Set For Uzbekistan Return

KUALA TERENGGANU, Dec 21 (Bernama) -- Terengganu FC (TFC) will bid farewell to their midfield maestro, Nurillo Tukhtasinov, as he departs from the Turtles squad.

TFC Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Sheikh Faraouk Sheikh Mohamed Al-Bajrai said the 28-year-old decided not to renew his contract, which ends on Dec 31.

He said Nurillo’s last game for TFC would be the Malaysian Super League match against Sabah FC at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium on Dec 23, bringing an end to nearly three memorable seasons with the east coast team.

“Nurillo is reported to be returning to Uzbekistan to play for a club there. TFC plans to hold a special appreciation session for him during his final match.

“Therefore, supporters are encouraged to attend and give their final tribute to TFC’s ‘architect’,” he said in a statement.
