In the final at the Sarawak State Petanque Arena, host team duo, Akhtar Shauqi Auni Mohd Dom and Nur Durratul Sahira Yazit, clinched a 13-9 win against Perak pair, Mohamad Yusman Haizad Mohamad Yusof and Nur Zafirah Zafri.

The bronze medal was won by Selangor, who defeated the Federal Territories (FT) team 13-10 in the third-place playoff.

Meanwhile, Negeri Sembilan took home the bronze in the women’s doubles after defeating Johor 13-3.

In the men’s doubles event, Selangor captured their first gold in petanque at SUKMA, with Mohammad Aiman Fitri Mohd Fauzi and Muhammad Idham Shahrulzahri easily overcoming Perak’s Muhammad Irfan Burhanuddin and Muhamad Aidil Zakri Junaidi 11-5.
