KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 8 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, mirroring the underlying cash market's performance.
The spot-month August 2024 contract fell 10.5 points to 1,582.5. September 2024 contract shed 26.5 points to 1,565.5, December 2024 slid 7.5 points to 1,570.5, while March 2025 slipped 10.5 points to 1,559.5.
Turnover dropped to 9,354 lots from 15,459 on Wednesday, while open interest decreased to 48,301 contracts from 54,809 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 1.49 points or 0.09 per cent to 1,590.38 from Wednesday’s close of 1,591.87.
