NEW YORK, Aug 9 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- The US dollar remained nearly unchanged in late trading on Thursday.
The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, went up 0.01 percent to 103.209 at 3:00 pm (1900 GMT).
In late New York trading, the euro lost to US$1.0918 from US$1.0922 in the previous session, and the British pound climbed to US$1.2751 from US$1.2685 in the previous session.
The US dollar bought 147.22 Japanese yen, higher than 146.88 Japanese yen of the previous session. The US dollar increased to 0.8659 Swiss francs from 0.8618 Swiss francs, and it decreased to 1.3732 Canadian dollars from 1.3746 Canadian dollars. The US dollar was up to 10.5157 Swedish kronor from 10.4815 Swedish kronor.
