PETALING JAYA, Dec 16 (Bernama) -- The Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) today launched the MyIPO Prihatin Squad, to assist flood victims in Rantau Panjang, Tumpat, and Lubuk Jong, in Kelantan.
MyIPO chairman Dr Mohd Zuhan Mohd Zain said that the squad, comprising 20 volunteers, would provide aid to flood victims, including distributing 500 fan units.
He said the mission also includes cleaning up flood-affected areas to accelerate the community’s recovery process.
"The MyIPO Prihatin Squad is responding to the government’s call to assist flood victims, in line with the directives of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali," he said during the squad’s flag-off ceremony at the Menara MyIPO lobby here today
The squad is scheduled to spend three days in the affected areas, to complete the mission. Mohd Zuhan expressed hope that the aid would provide relief to those in need of both moral and material support, particularly during the post-flood recovery phase.
He also extended his gratitude to all parties involved, including MyIPO staff members, for their unwavering dedication to ensuring the mission’s success.
